Greetings to all.
In 1990, the Yuvak Sanghatana (Youth Organization) was established in Nagpur under the leadership of Mr. Avinash Dorshetwar as President, while I had the honor of being appointed as the Treasurer, marking the beginning of my journey in social service. Through this organization, we celebrated the achievements of meritorious students and carried out various social initiatives.
In 1992, new committee elections were held, and I was once again entrusted with the responsibility of Treasurer. For the next ten years, I faithfully served in this position within the Perki Jansangham.
From 1992 till today, I have continued to be an active Executive Member of the Perki Jansangham. In 2023, during the latest election, I was elected as the General Secretary. My core mission remains — to serve the community selflessly and to continue contributing positively to its development.
During my tenure in the Vidarbha Executive Committee of Perki Jansangham, numerous social initiatives, conventions, and felicitation programs were organized. Notably, over a period of five years, we led several protests and marches at the State Assembly (Vidhansabha), demanding the inclusion of our community in the Nomadic Tribes category.
We successfully organized mass marriage ceremonies in Pandharkawda and Armori, and several community felicitation programs were also held. The Central Office of the Executive Committee was established in Nagpur, and a Cultural Lawn was developed at Gorewada, Nagpur, among other achievements.
I have also been an active member of the Perki Samaj Savings Scheme in Nagpur since 1992, holding several positions over the years.
In addition, I am associated with the Perki Samaj Seva Bhavi Sanstha (Charitable Organization) in Nagpur. Through this organization, we have conducted several educational guidance programs for students from Class 8 to 12 and their parents. We have also organized seminars and felicitation programs for professionals in the medical field, and several health camps have been held for the welfare of our community members.
All these initiatives are dedicated to the upliftment and unity of our Perki community. I pledge to remain committed to the welfare and progress of our people and sincerely hope for your continued support and cooperation in this mission.
I am deeply grateful to all the senior members and fellow social workers who have guided and supported me throughout this journey.
Thank you.
